I’m not a fan of one-day-a-year recognition. Every day is an opportunity to love, to celebrate, to give thanks. But here we are at a time when the world is focused on being thankful—and that’s a good thing. So, here’s my two cents worth of gratitude.
I am thankful for those who have stood by me this year. For those who said, “That’s hard.”
I am thankful for memories. For laughter. For legacy.
I am thankful for the smile of my grandson. For my new job. For having people to love. And, for having people who love me.
For cold mornings on my porch waiting for light to break through darkness. For warm coffee. For Jesus.
I am thankful.
